Bush and his cronies as war criminals, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/herman\/2009\/04\/more_notes_from_nowhere.html\">he forfeited whatever moral authority he might have had<\/a> as president. In his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/photos-and-video\/video\/2010\/08\/31\/end-combat-mission-iraq\"> Aug. 31 Oval Office speech<\/a> announcing &#8220;the end of the combat mission in Iraq&#8221; he even heaped praise on Bush for his so-called patriotism. At <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/photos-and-video\/video\/2010\/09\/10\/president-obama-news-conference\">yesterday&#8217;s White House news conference<\/a> he actually said, &#8220;One of the things that I most admired about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/herman\/archives\/2007\/01\/time_for_him_to.html\">President Bush<\/a> was, after 9\/11, him being crystal-clear about the fact that we were not at war with Islam.&#8221;  Does he <em>really<\/em> believe that? Does he think <em>anybody<\/em> believes that? What else does Obama &#8220;most admire&#8221; about his predecessor?
