The curators <a href=\"http:\/\/moma.org\/visit\/calendar\/exhibitions\/1085\">write<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In the spirit of MoMA&#8217;s publication of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.momastore.org\/museum\/moma\/ProductDisplay_Modern%20Women%20Women%20Artists%20at%20The%20Museum%20of%20Modern%20Art%20%28HC%29_10451_10001_65591\"><em>Modern Women: Women Artists at The Museum of Modern Art<\/em><\/a> in June 2010, the Museum Library features experimental works by women that form part of the newly acquired Silverman Fluxus Collections Reference LIbrary. With a focus on artists&#8217; books, event scores, exhibition catalogues, periodicals, an examples of the alternative press, the exhibition includes publications by Alison Knowles, Takako Saito, Mieko Shiomi, Yoko Ono, Dorothy Iannone, and others.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/herman\/MaryBeachVisuaPoem.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt title=\"'Now' by Mary Beach [The San Francisco EARTHQUAKE No. 3, 1968]\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/herman\/assets_c\/2010\/09\/MaryBeachVisuaPoem-thumb-480x565-17175.jpg\" width=\"170\" height=\"200\" class=\"mt-image-left\" style=\"float: left; margin: 0 20px 20px 0;\" \/><\/a>The exhibition &#8212; organized by Sheelagh Bevan, with David Senior &#8212; sounds pretty cool, especially since they had the wisdom to include lots of Charlotte Moorman, Mary Beach&#8217;s provocative &#8220;Now,&#8221; originally published in the little magazine <a href=\"http:\/\/realitystudio.org\/images\/people\/jan_herman\/publisher\/san-francisco-earthquake\/san-francisco-earthquake.03.jpg\">The San Francisco EARTHQUAKE No. 3<\/a> &#8230; way back in 1968 it was &#8230; as well as Alison Knowles&#8217; book, <em>Journal of the Identical Lunch<\/em>, also published in the Stone Age &#8230; back in 1971 &#8230; by <a href=\"http:\/\/realitystudio.org\/bibliographic-bunker\/jan-herman-and-william-s-burroughs\/jan-herman-as-publisher-of-nova-broadcast-press\/\">Nova Broadcast Press<\/a>.
