Does Barack Obama truly believe that &#8220;looking forward&#8221; without laying blame will erase <a href=\"http:\/\/voices.washingtonpost.com\/white-house-watch\/torture\/torturing-for-propaganda-purpo.html\">what happened<\/a> during the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/herman\/archives\/2005\/08\/jim_holts_criti.html\">Bullshitter-in-Chief<\/a>&#8216;s regime? Does he really want to become known as the Eraser-in-Chief?<br \/>\nIn another context, he might find it worth reading <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/doc\/200905\/nazi-germany\">Benjamin Schwartz&#8217;s article<\/a> in the current Atlantic, describing how the Nazis established the genocide of the Jews as a pervasive &#8220;open secret&#8221; so that all Germans would be made complicit. Then, as long as I&#8217;m on the subject, he might read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foreignpolicy.com\/story\/cms.php?story_id=4859\">Nick Bravin&#8217;s article<\/a> in the current Foreign Policy, describing how Lithuania&#8217;s chief war crimes prosecutor has &#8212; tragically and absurdly &#8212; targeted Jewish Holocaust survivors as war criminals. But ordering <a href=\"http:\/\/ipsnews.net\/news.asp?idnews=46511\">more drone attacks<\/a> that kill indiscriminately &#8212; including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/05\/15\/world\/asia\/15farah.html?_r=1&#038;hp\">this strike<\/a> in Afghanistan &#8212; won&#8217;t? Americans who voted for him believed he would spare the bullshit. Sadly, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/nationworld\/nation\/la-na-military-tribunal15-2009may15,0,4322036.story\">he is proving them wrong<\/a>.
