Thus did last night&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/video\/2007\/04\/26\/VI2007042601430.html\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>lineup of Democratic presidential candidates<\/strong><\/font><\/a> distinguish itself.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/graphics8.nytimes.com\/images\/2007\/04\/26\/us\/27debate-600.jpg\" class=inline target=new\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt title=\"From left, the Democratic candidates for president: Mike Gravel, Sen.
