Next week&#8217;s might not be, so get it while it lasts.<br \/>\n<Strong>Postscript:<\/strong> And isn&#8217;t it nice to see Eric Alterman&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenation.com\/doc\/20061211\/alterman\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#0033399>latest alert<\/strong><\/font><\/a> in The Nation? He only lags by 12 days behind <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/herman\/archives\/2006\/11\/pants_on_fire.html\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>Pants On Fire<\/strong><\/font><\/a>, while managing to cop Frank Rich&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/herman\/archives\/2006\/11\/i_try_never_to.html\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>&#8220;double down&#8221;<\/strong><\/font><\/a> language (applied to a different subject) with a lag time of a mere three days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>David Remnick must have taken my sterling advice.
