Thought you might get a tsk-tsk out of a few video stills.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/herman\/TROIS%20SOIRS%20200.jpg\" alt=\"TROIS SOIRS PARMI\" width=\"219\" align=\"left\" border=\"0\" \/>NDdV ran on a bill with Jochen Gerz&#8217;s very sober conceptual piece, &#8220;La Salle et sa repr\u00e9sentation,&#8221; on March 16, 1972. Location: 19 Quai Bourbon on <a class=\"inline\" href=\"http:\/\/www.parisdigest.com\/promenade\/ilesaintlouis.htm\" target=\"new&quot;\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #003399;\">Ile Saint-Louis<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, a stone&#8217;s throw from the cathedral <a class=\"inline\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Notre_Dame_de_Paris\" target=\"new&quot;\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #003399;\">Notre-Dame de Paris<\/span><\/strong><\/a> on <a class=\"inline\" href=\"http:\/\/www.parisdigest.com\/promenade\/citeisland.htm\" target=\"new&quot;\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #003399;\">Ile de la Cit\u00e9<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. It sat shoulder high on a pedestal in the middle of a room as vast as a Louvre gallery. Word buzzed through the crowd. (&#8220;Yum, that&#8217;s quoit noice!&#8221;) In fact, the best thing about NDdV was the Peeping Tom effect.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nAs people gathered to lay eyes on Our Lady, some jockeyed for position. Rowdies cut in line to grab a peek. Fist fights broke out.
