The slogans say it themselves.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/news\/releases\/2005\/11\/20051130-2.html\" class=inline target=new\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Latest bullshit 'Plan for Victory' [White House photo by Paul Morse]\" src=\"http:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/news\/releases\/2005\/11\/images\/20051130-2_p113005pm-0115jpg-250h.jpg\" width=254 align=left border=0 \/><\/a>If more naval trappings for the latest empty nonsense by a <a href=\"http:\/\/select.nytimes.com\/2005\/12\/01\/opinion\/01herbert.html\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>talking-points prez on rewind<\/strong><\/font><\/a>, left, weren&#8217;t enough to make you throw up, how does this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/printedition\/la-fg-infowar30nov30,0,3132219.story?track=hpmostemailedlink\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>vomit-making news<\/strong><\/font><\/a> strike you?<br \/>\nMeantime, a New York Times editorial notes that  the so-called plan for victory is basically a rehash of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2005\/12\/01\/opinion\/01thur1.html\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>&#8220;the same tired argument that everything&#8217;s going just fine.&#8221;<\/strong><\/font><\/a> Even USA Today, the vox populi of the American press, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/news\/opinion\/editorials\/2005-11-30-iraq-bush-edit_x.htm\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>went negative<\/strong><\/font><\/a> on the speech and the plan, describing the Bullshitter as a congenital &#8220;cheerleader&#8221; who &#8220;missed his moment.&#8221; Too deferential by half, it was nevertheless a welcome contrast to the Washington Post&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2005\/11\/30\/AR2005113001846.html\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>mealy-mouth editorial<\/strong><\/font><\/a>. The Los Angeles Times <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/opinion\/editorials\/la-ed-iraq1dec01,0,5956031.story?coll=la-news-comment-editorials\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>also failed to applaud<\/strong><\/font><\/a>, unlike the true-blue academy&#8217;s rah-rah chorus. Needless to say, The Wall Street Journal <a href=\"http:\/\/www.opinionjournal.com\/editorial\/feature.html?id=110007619\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>laid on a rave<\/strong><\/font><\/a>.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwjokes.com\/pictures\/defend.php\" class=inline target=new\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Caught in the Bullshitter's nightmare\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/herman\/archives\/DEFENDINGhomeland.jpg\" width=280 align=right border=0 \/><\/a><br \/>\nTo illustrate how we feel about all of this, have a look at the juxtaposed photo collages, right. It&#8217;s old and inexact, we admit. It&#8217;s also missing the Bullshitter&#8217;s stalwart-in-crime, Cheney Boy, as one of the triumvirate. But what it says about the nation&#8217;s collective nightmare is as apt now as it was in the Bullshitter&#8217;s first term &#8212; probably more so.<br \/>\n<i>&#8212; Tireless Staff of Thousands<\/i><br \/>\n<strong>Postscript:<\/strong> And this is how that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/printedition\/la-fg-infowar30nov30,0,3132219.story?track=hpmostemailedlink\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>vomit-making news<\/strong><\/font><\/a> strikes our nauseated poet:<br \/>\n<strong><i>D.
