The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2005\/10\/23\/AR2005102301201_pf.html\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>Senate majority leader&#8217;s<\/strong><\/font><\/a>, for instance:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) was given considerable information about his stake in his family&#8217;s hospital company, according to records that are at odds with his past statements that he did not know what was in his stock holdings.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Not to mention small-time conniving <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realcities.com\/mld\/krwashington\/12973371.htm\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>like this<\/strong><\/font><\/a> :<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers collected more than 10 times the market value for a small slice of family-owned land in a large Superfund pollution cleanup site in Dallas where the state wanted to build a highway off-ramp.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Let alone the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time.com\/time\/magazine\/article\/0,9171,1122014,00.html\" class=inline target=new\"><strong><font color=#003399>big-time corruption<\/strong><\/font><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When [indicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff] had to make sure his clients&#8217; concerns got the attention of the right people in the George W.
