The marchers, &#8220;waving black flags and carrying banners,&#8221; were<br \/>\nusing today&#8217;s anniversary to claim that Germany was &#8220;a war victim,&#8221; as though the Holocaust had<br \/>\nnever happened.&nbsp; It is an untenable&nbsp;pretense to equate the Dresden bombing with<br \/>\nHiroshima and Nagasaki the way the neo-Nazi&nbsp;marchers&nbsp;do &#8212; although reasonable<br \/>\npeople&nbsp;could debate the bombings &#8212; because, for starters,&nbsp;Holocaust denial<br \/>\nis&nbsp;too loathsome to contemplate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As thousands of neo-Nazis marched in Dresden, Germany, on the 60th anniversary of the allied bombing raids that destroyed the city during World War II, I was reminded of the honkey myopia that Bill Osborne warned about earlier this month.
