A winner of ASCAP&#8217;s Deems Taylor Award for music journalism, she&#8217;s executive editor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newmusicbox.org\">NewMusicBox<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.counterstreamradio.org\">CounterstreamRadio<\/a>, both programs of New Music USA. <\/p>\n<p>She hosted Carnegie Hall&#8217;s <span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-style: italic;\">Sound Insights<\/span> podcasts and online artist interviews and her writing has appeared in publications such as <span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-style: italic;\">TimeOut<\/span>, <span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-style: italic;\">The Washington Post<\/span>, and the\u00c2\u00a0occasional\u00c2\u00a0concert program.\u00c2\u00a0She attended the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University, earning a bachelor&#8217;s in journalism with a specialization in violin performance and French in 1999.<\/p>\n<p>She currently divides her time between New York City and Baltimore, where she lives with her husband, the saxophonist Brian Sacawa, and cooks for <a href=\"http:\/\/wonderlandkitchen.com\">Wonderland Kitchen<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Molly Sheridan is a writer, editor, and producer specializing in classical and experimental music, with a focus on multimedia content designed for the web.
