(I&#8217;m going<br \/>\nFriday, tonight&#8211;and may have more to say later [<b>UPDATE:<\/b> here is that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/foot\/2008\/07\/what_i_like_about_him.html\">more<\/a>]). Thankfully, Foot in Mouth<br \/>\ncontributor Eva Yaa Asantewaa reminded me, with this rave <a href=\"http:\/\/infinitebody.blogspot.com\/\">on her blog<\/a>: <o:p><\/o:p><\/font><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><font style=\"font-size: 1.25em;\">Everybody&#8217;s thrilled by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dancetheaterworkshop.org\/greenberg\">and writing about<\/a> <b>Neil<br \/>\nGreenberg<\/b>&#8216;s new <i>Really Queer Dance with Harps<\/i>, and you should really<br \/>\nqueerly or otherwise see it&#8211;especially for the radiant trio of harpists, led<br \/>\nby composer <b>Zeena Parkins<\/b>, at the golden heart of the piece. But my own<br \/>\nreally queer<i> <\/i>heart has gone and continues to go out to <i>Quartet with<br \/>\nThree Gay Men<\/i>, the 2006 work danced by Greenberg, <b>Luke Miller<\/b>, <b>Antonio<br \/>\nRamos<\/b> and <b>Colin Stillwell<\/b>. It&#8217;s just&#8211;<i>hooray!<\/i>&#8211;11 minutes,<br \/>\nand some of that time is spent dancing to RuPaul&#8217;s &#8220;Supermodel (You Better<br \/>\nWork).&#8221; Can&#8217;t go wrong, in my book, with RuPaul. And it&#8217;s a fantastic<br \/>\ndance, too, like a prism breaking Greenberg into four avatars who render his<br \/>\nspacious movement with luscious, queerforward simplicity. Oh, did I mention<br \/>\nit&#8217;s only 11 minutes? Brevity, the soul of wit.<o:p><\/o:p><\/font><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"\"><font style=\"font-size: 1.25em;\"><br \/><b>Dance Theater Workshop<\/b><\/font><br \/>\n<font style=\"font-size: 1.25em;\">&#8216;s got <b>Dance By Neil Greenberg<\/b> through<br \/>\nSaturday. Greenberg should be a big star; the fact that<br \/>\nwe can see him and his incredible, eccentric dancers up close and for $25 (or<br \/>\nless) is amazing for us, whatever it says about the situation of the artist in<br \/>\nAmerica.
