I don&#8217;t want this blog to turn into a clearinghouse for work elsewhere, but given that the scantness of Foot posts by me often has to do with the other work I&#8217;m entangled in, I thought I&#8217;d post some reviews&#8211;eventually as a sidebar, as soon as I can figure that out.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsday.com\/entertainment\/arts\/ny-etledew5252429jun13,0,5271825.story?coll=ny-arts-headlines\"> Here&#8217;s<\/a> a review of some great flamenco in the East Village.<br \/>\nHere&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsday.com\/search\/ny-opleta5252399jun12,0,1587654.story\">review<\/a> of Christopher Wheeldon&#8217;s &#8220;The Nightingale and the Rose&#8221; for the New York City Ballet. I had mixed feelings about the Wheeldon ballet, but Balanchine&#8217;s hyper-Romantic &#8220;Davidsbundlertanze,&#8221; on the same bill, makes up the difference.
