She has written regularly for the\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">New Yorker<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">, the New York<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">\u00a0Times<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">, and\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">Newsday<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">, and contributed to\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">Salon<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">,\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">New York<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">\u00a0magazine, the\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">Village Voice<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">,\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">Elle<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">, the San Francisco\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">Chronicle<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">,\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">Barnard<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">\u00a0magazine, and\u00a0<\/span><em style=\"color: #222222;\">Flash Art International<\/em><span style=\"color: #222222;\">. She gave the 2010 keynote address for the Dance Critics Association. As a graduate student at Cornell University, she was funded by a five-year Mellon Fellowship in the Humanities. She currently teaches undergraduate seminars on writing on the arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in Manhattan.
