In the course of that discussion she shared some resources that ArtPlace has made available that can be of considerable benefit to anyone involved in community engagement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align:justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artplaceamerica.org\/blog\/renewable-unrestricted-funding-it%E2%80%99s-your-backyard\">The first is a blog post about crowdsourced funding for community-based projects.<\/a> It offers a good deal of practical advice and introduced me to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ioby.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">ioby<\/a> &#8220;a nonprofit community crowdfunding platform that helps local leaders raise and organize all kinds of capital\u2014cash, social networks, in-kind donations, volunteers, and advocacy\u2014to meet their needs.&#8221; Looks like a good possibility for smaller projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align:justify\">The second link she shared was to ArtPlace&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artplaceamerica.org\/resources\">Resources page<\/a>. It&#8217;s full of useful material. I am particularly impressed with the sections on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artplaceamerica.org\/questions\/community-planning-development\">Community Planning and Development<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artplaceamerica.org\/questions\/cross-sector-collaboration\">Cross-Sector Collaboration<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align:justify\">These all present valuable tools for community engagement.
