\"DSC_6001-1024x681\"<\/a>Weather is warming up, but we have a bunch of cool concerts happening here<\/strong><\/a> this time of year. Last week it was Duo SF, the Swiss sax-and-piano group, playing new music from Europe by Rico Gubler, Antoine Fran\u00e7oise, Hans-J\u00fcrg Meier and Laurent Estoppey.\u00a0\u00a0 This Saturday night it\u2019s nu plays new<\/strong><\/a>, our contemporary ensemble, reeling out a lineup of premieres by our student composers:<\/p>\n

\nBrent Lawrence: Rest, Refocus, Repeat<\/em>
\nOliver B. Glynn: Fanfare<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And the following Saturday Christopher James Lees leads the UNCSA Symphony in six premieres by some of the same students and others:<\/p>\n
