He makes other classical iconoclasts I know &#8212; Jeremy, for instance &#8212; seem middle of the road.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-aNeAg9vqd2w\/TbhRZw0xDZI\/AAAAAAAABGw\/VoI_fN8zk7g\/s1600\/cameron.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"273\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-aNeAg9vqd2w\/TbhRZw0xDZI\/AAAAAAAABGw\/VoI_fN8zk7g\/s320\/cameron.jpg\" width=\"320\"><\/a>I spoke to Carpenter for the Los Angeles Times <i>Influences<\/i> column, which I am taking over for a while.
