(The book is not as appetizing.)<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-TX1jtjxxujo\/TtfdKBfnlLI\/AAAAAAAABNo\/eN5ReDvFpxI\/s1600\/damned-us-1.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"320\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-TX1jtjxxujo\/TtfdKBfnlLI\/AAAAAAAABNo\/eN5ReDvFpxI\/s320\/damned-us-1.jpg\" width=\"213\"><\/a><br \/>The <i>Fight Club<\/i> author has a new novel, <i><a href=\"http:\/\/mobile.latimes.com\/p.p?a=rp&#038;m=b&#038;postId=1252794&#038;curAbsIndex=0&#038;resultsUrl=DID%3D6%26DFCL%3D1000%26DSB%3Drank%2523desc%26DBFQ%3DuserId%253A7%26DL.w%3D%26DL.d%3D10%26DQ%3DsectionId%253A5233%26DPS%3D0%26DPL%3D3\">Damned<\/a><\/i>. And <a href=\"http:\/\/articles.latimes.com\/2008\/may\/19\/entertainment\/et-palahniuk19\">HERE<\/a> is my conversation with him.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s part of my profile:<\/p>\n<p><span><i>Palahniuk&#8217;s method is to sniff out such subjects, then pounce. &#8220;Things that last in the culture tend to be those unresolved issues,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Like Ira Levin&#8217;s &#8216;The Stepford Wives&#8217; was a wonderful, entertaining way to discuss what Susan Faludi would later call backlash.
