The opening band seemed to have a lot of people, and they opened very slowwwly&#8230; but by the end of their set I&#8217;d been transported. They&#8217;re somewhere between Radar Bros and Sigur Ros.<\/p>\n<p>That group &#8212; LA&#8217;s own <a title=\"Bell Gardens page\" href=\"http:\/\/bellgardens.bandcamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bell Gardens<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/culturecrash\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/0003546805_10.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2364\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/culturecrash\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/0003546805_10-251x300.jpg\" alt=\"0003546805_10\" width=\"251\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/culturecrash\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/0003546805_10-251x300.jpg 251w, https:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/culturecrash\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/0003546805_10-859x1024.jpg 859w, https:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/culturecrash\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/0003546805_10.jpg 1007w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 251px) 100vw, 251px\" \/><\/a> &#8212; has a new album out today, <em>Slow Dawns for Lost Conclusions<\/em>. I&#8217;ve attached a <a title=\"Bell Gardens LP video\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5VDH-EUtT4I\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a> that gives a sense of some of its songs. This is a group whose music deserves to be heard with better, richer sound than my computer has to offer, though. And what&#8217;s great about these songs is the way they build.
