I've long admired her ability to bring reflection, creative thought, and artistic intent to <i>every<\/i> aspect of her work -- from her choreography to her business to her company's goals and processes. Her visit has offered great opportunities to dig into those ideas with multiple audiences.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2003, she's been applying that focus and intent to her new performance home, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.streb.org\/V2\/space\/index.html\">Streb Lab for Action Mechanics<\/a> (SLAM) in Brooklyn, which has become a creative canvas for her and her peers to rethink how and where artists and audiences come together, and how they behave with each other once they're there.<\/p>\n<p>I recorded a 20-minute conversation with Elizabeth yesterday for <a href=\"http:\/\/deimos3.apple.com\/WebObjects\/Core.woa\/Browse\/wisc-public.2313344055.02313344062\">our course podcast<\/a> (link will open iTunes), and have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archive.org\/details\/Uw-madisonArtsEnterpriseAConversationWithElizabethStreb\">posted it here as well<\/a>.
