Our goal is to dig into issues of diversity &#8212; among audiences, organizations, boards, and staff &#8212; without falling into the usual pit of vague generalities. Should be fun and productive.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/artscouncilnewmediaconference.com\/wordpress\/\">New Media, New Audience?<\/a><\/b><br \/><b>A one day working seminar on the arts, new media and broadcasting<\/b><br \/><i>Tuesday, November 25, 9:00 am &#8211; 5:30 pm<\/i><br \/><i>Dublin Castle, Dublin, Ireland<\/i><br \/><i>hosted by the Arts Council of Ireland<\/i><br \/>This should be a fascinating conversation about &#8221;the ways in which artists and the&nbsp;public are adapting and<br \/>\nadopting new ways of producing, presenting and&nbsp;promoting the arts.&#8221; I&#8217;m running a session exploring &#8221;The Metaphors We Manage By,&#8221; or the particular challenges to traditional business models and strategies in the arts in an increasingly connected (and factured) world. I&#8217;ll also be part of the wrap-up panel.
