Both posts refer to the work of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marthamcginnis.com\/\">Martha McGinnis<\/a>, an illustrator that creates large-format sketches at conferences or think-tanks <i>while<\/i> the ideas unfold.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/artfulmanager\/images\/visual_logic.jpg\" width=\"216\" height=\"124\" alt=\"visual logic by Martha McGinnis\" border=\"0\" align=\"right\">The result is a complex image that captures, clarifies, and connects a group&#8217;s discussion, and makes the ephemeral more tangible&#8230;which sounds much like the function of <i>many<\/i> forms of creative expression.<\/p>\n<p>As it turns out, there&#8217;s an entire <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifvp.org\/\">international society of &#8221;Visual Practitioners,&#8221;<\/a> as the discipline is known.
