Below, Kessler&#8217;s <i>Under Venice<\/i> (Aluminum, Plexiglass, photomural, Murano vases, gears, chain, lights and motors).<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"jonkesslervenice.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artsjournal.com\/anotherbb\/jonkesslervenice.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-center\" style=\"margin: 0pt auto 20px; text-align: center; display: block;\" width=\"400\" height=\"290\" \/><\/span>In the 1980s, Kessler and Christopher Wilmarth staked out what became a road-not-taken in glass. Kessler&#8217;s commitment to the medium proved fickle.
