Job Description: Community Engagement Manager
The Community Engagement Manager is the person responsible for the organization, planning,
communication, engagement and implementation of membership events and programming, with a
focus on member accrual and coordination with engaging programming. The Community
Engagement Manager works with all departments within the ISC and reports to the Executive
Director.
Primary Responsibilities
- Represent the ISC at events promoting collaboration, membership & programming
- Participate in programming relevant to expanding our community, as deemed necessary
- and financially stable by supervisor
- Expand and engage in the member only area of website
- Expand member benefits through programming & exhibitions
- Act as liaison to the ISC Chapter Groups
- Act as liaison for Membership and International Affairs Committees
- Manage the Student Awards Program including the annual traveling show
- Manage the Educator Awards Program
- Manage the Innovator Award
- Manage International Sculpture Day event and support staff for participating organizations
- Coordinates ISC Residency Programs with participating organization
- Assist in the planning and implementation of membership and subscription goals and
- increasing membership benefits
- Manage all marketing for member based programming
- Assist with Art Sale Project
- Assist with policy and procedures where required
- Regularly research and keep up-to-date on current virtual platform trends
- Continually expand and adjust programming to reflect current work environment
Employment Requirements
- BA required
- 2-3 years non-profit experience preferred
- Experience running and directing educational programs and working directly with members
- bases
- Fine art handling experience preferred
- Experience in project management and ability to work on multiple projects with tight
- deadlines
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and ability to build and maintain trusting
- relationships with diverse members, including students, educators, VIPS, organizations and
- administrative constituencies
- Proven ability to remain composed under pressure and to support members in all situations
- Capacity to exercise professional judgment and problem solve in situations for which there
- are no established criteria
