Apply Now: Master of Arts in Arts Administration at Florida State University (FSU)

The MA program in Arts Administration educates aspiring cultural leaders about the practice and theory of socially responsible arts administration. In addition to discussion-based courses, our highly engaged faculty employ experiential learning opportunities to deeply engage students in learning about the practices most critical to sustaining cultural organizations and a dynamic cultural sector.

All applicants will receive consideration for Graduate Assistantships and Teaching Assistantships. However, the department may award applicants from Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Cayman, Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curacao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Falkland Islands, French Guiana, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Mexico, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Martin, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos Islands, Uruguay, Venezuela, U.K. Virgin Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands funding for their studies through the Latin America-Caribbean (LAC) Scholarship.

Applicants from Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Benin, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Canada, Cape Verde, China, Costa Rica, Cote D’Ivoire, Croatia, Czech Republic, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Estonia, France, Gambia, Georgia, Grenada, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Hungary, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Latvia, Liberia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Maliu, Mauritania, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Niger, Nigeria, Poland, Romania, Russia, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Senegal, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan may receive waivers of the out-of-state portion of their tuition through Florida’s Linkage Institute .

Through the Academic Common Market, residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida (graduate programs only), Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas (graduate programs only), Virginia and West Virginia may qualify for in-state tuition rates. The ACM allows a student to enroll in a graduate program at a university in another state without having to pay out-of-state tuition if that program of study is not offered by the public institutions in the student’s home state. Eligibility varies by program of study and state of residence.

To apply, applicants must submit their transcripts, three letters of recommendation, a 1,000-word purpose statement, academic writing sample, and GRE scores. Please note that the program waives the GRE for students with a 3.0 GPA or above. The deadline for Spring 2022 admissions is October 1, 2021.
