Young Brit gets named Dudamel apprentice

Ben Gernon, winner of the Salzburg Young Conductors Award, has just leaped another two rungs up the ladder. He has been picked by the Dude as one of three stick-bearers this season at the LA Phil. The other two are Israeli Daniel Cohen and Spaniard Antonio Mendez.
