Seiji Ozawa returns in jazz concert

The Japanese conductor, making a slow recovery from cancer of the oesophagus, took another step up to normality with a performance of Geshwin’s Rhapsody in Blue at his Saito Kinen festival – in the original jazzband version. The soloist was jazz pianist Junko Onishi.
