The English-based US conductor Kenneth Woods is passionate about the music of Hans Gal (1890-1987), a Viennese late-romantic who settled in Edinburgh after 1938.
He has put up a crowd-funder to finance a symphonic recording and is still £2,500 short. The clock is ticking. Under the rules, if the project fails it cannot be revived. This could be Gal’s last chance.
