Edita Gruberova, one of the biggest opera singers on the German stage, has spoken out against the exploitation of younger singers by unscrupulous festivals and opera houses, starting with Salzburg. In doing so, she subscribes to Elisabeth Kulman’s art-but-fair campaign on behalf of ripped-off performers.
