We’ve received a modest battery of complaints from readers who have been waiting fruitless hours in their attempt to book tickets for this summer’s Proms. The queuing system is inconsistent, with some customers being shunted back and forth in the waiting room, and the general impression is that, while the site carried record traffic this weekend, it did not function well under the strain. Some blame Dr Who.
If you had difficulties over the weekend, share them here.
UPDATE: 11 concerts sold out in the first two days – including the Proms debut of Valentina Listsa in Addinsell’s Warsaw Concerto.
UPDATE2: The Mail blames Dr Who and his touts, here.
