Argentina announces its classical stars of the year

Here’s the list, drawn up by the nation’s finest music critics (below). You may notice that the foreign orchestra of the year is the Maggio Musicale of Florence, which is presently under threat of abolition. Foreign conductor of the year is Riccardo Muti. Singer is Renee Fleming. More pics here. None of the foreign stars showed up for the awards.
