A Weinberg opera shows up in Mannheim

  1. Thank you for posting, I am very happy to hear it! He was close to Shostakovich but he was not at all a pale copy of him. I had a chance to conduct the German premiere of Weinberg’s oper “Congratulations!” At the Konzerthaus Berlin last September. Phenomenal music!
