Rules for posting comments on Slipped Disc

Recent controversies have prompted us to repeat the rules for posting on this site. Here they are:

1 No personal abuse

Do engage in vigorous issue-based discussion, but do not attack other site users, the site owners or named third parties. Abusers get spammed out automatically after the first offence. If you feel the need to slag someone off, do it somewhere else.

2 No defamation

Laws vary from one country to the next. The general rule is: don’t post anything you cannot expect to defend in court.

3 Avoid copyright violation

Third-party texts may not be quoted without the owner’s permission. The contents of this site may not be quoted without formal credit.

4 No one-word responses

They are rude, and meaningless.

5 Keep it simple, have a good time, remember to press the ‘send’ button.
