From next month, it should be slightly easier for artists to enter the US

United States Customs and Border Patrol has announced that, starting April 30, 2013, artists and performers entering the US (as well as everyone else) will no longer have to fill in physical I-94 forms. The process will be electronically automated. Cost saving: $15.5 million.

  1. A good procedural change, but it won’t make it any easier to enter for those writers and artists who have been excluded in the past on account of their political views.
