An appeal from the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra:

3 trumpets, Bach, Schagerl/Holsdort, Getzen- trumpet stolen in the train 20.01.2013 near Lyon from the trumpet player G. Rolland .

  1. I’m so sorry to hear of G. Rolland’s loss. I just wanted to point out that contacting your local instrument repair people might help find the instruments. I used to own a musical instrument repair store and I kept a list of stolen instruments and their serial numbers that I checked. You also may need to educate your law enforcement as to where the serial numbers of the instruments are located, and finally; if Mr. G. Rolland doesn’t have his serial numbers – it’s quite likely his repair technician does. Good luck.
