A 29 year-old man, named as Michael M., has been arrested in connection with the two bodies found in the building of the Lower Silesia Philharmonic orchestra in the city of Jelenia Gora. The arrest was made on a train in Jaworzno.

A woman of 27 so far unnamed was also killed. She was a harpist who had arrived from Waraw to play in the orchestra the following day.
