Ex-Carnegie Hall boss dies

Sy Rosen, who ran the Manhattan brownstone at Isaac Stern’s behest for four years in the mid-80s, has died, aged 87.

He was previously manager of the Pittsburgh, Philly and Buffalo orchs. More here.
