The jury in the trial of Mike Brewer and his former wife Hilary Brewer retired this afternoon to consider their verdicts. Brewer is charged with rape and sexual abuse of a former pupil at Chetams School of Music in Manchester some 30 years ago. His ex-wife is accused of aiding and abetting rape and indecent assault.
Both deny the charges.
We will bring you the verdicts as soon as they are announced.
