All-Pro Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas sits on the Nashville Symphony board and founded the Rob Bironas Fund, which “finances tools, education and leadership to help Nashville youth achieve scholastic excellence through music education.”
A small point, but Starks is not currently on the PSO’s board. The article states he “was on the board of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra from 2006 until last year.”
In the early 90′s Phoenix Suns star /current Sacramento mayor Kevin Johnson sat on the Phoenix Symphony Board.
