The American football player who sits on an orchestra board

Max Starks is a a 6-foot-8, 345-pound offensive lineman for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He wears size 19 shoes. He is also a board member of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

    All-Pro Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas sits on the Nashville Symphony board and founded the Rob Bironas Fund, which “finances tools, education and leadership to help Nashville youth achieve scholastic excellence through music education.”

  2. A small point, but Starks is not currently on the PSO’s board. The article states he “was on the board of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra from 2006 until last year.”
