Marilyn Monroe’s mislaid liaison was a fine musician and composer

Hal Schaefer was the vocal coach whom Joe diMaggio suspected of romancing him wife. He was right. But a raid that he staged with Frank Sinatra went hilariously wrong, and Schefer lived to tell the tale – until last week, when he died. Read the whole story in the LA Times.
