And today, Jurjen Hempel makes his unexpected debut at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra after Nikolaj Znaider had to leave the orchestra after conducting one concert (also his debut). He got a little daughter earlier than expected. All the best to her and her parents.
A concert wirth Hempel (same program) is to be heard live from the Concertgebouw on Dutch Radio4, Sunday 2nd, 14h15 (UTC + 1) .
