The demolition of classical music at Australia’s National University is a story that just won’t die down. Two of the sacked teachers have been talking to local media, predicting further frostbite in the nation’s capital.
(clue: This is not Canberra. Alice Giles is playing the Antarctic)

The whole situation is really disgraceful. I feel for the devoted teaching staff.
Another update re the shameful situation at ANU. Many of us believe Richard Gill should be beatified for his efforts re music education in schools.

Judy:
I’m wondering if this is Round Hill Road Judy as you use the term ‘beatified’ …please let me know.
Sorry, Pam, I don’t understand your comment re Round Hill Rd. My comment about Richard Gill was in regard to the great affection & agreement many of us have for him. “Saint Richard ” would be appropriate!!
The land of Dame Joan…… so sad.
2 Dame Joans and a Dame Nellie
Indeed. Thank you for the correction.
