A great French flautist has died

We have ben informed of the death of Christian Lardé, one of the great masters of his instrument. he was 82 years old.

Lardé studied at the Paris Conservatoire and made many international tours. Later, he was professor in Montreal and Paris. Many composers wrote for him, most notably the wistful Jean Francaix. Here he is playing a Bach set.
