Dalia Meroz was the public face of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra until she was fired last year for reasons undisclosed.
She died yesterday of the side-effects of medical treatment.
The IPO shed official tears: “Dalia accompanied us for years, with love, belief and endless devotion,” said Avi Shoshani, the IPO’s general director. “She was a true professional, and an integral part of the orchestra.”
So why did you fire her, Avi?
