Today the Musicians Benevolent Fund launches a special calendar entitled ‘Opera Offstage’ which offers a glimpse of some of Britain’s best loved opera stars enjoying precious time off. The 2013 calendar will retail at £12 and will be sold alongside the Musicians Benevolent Fund’s 2012 Christmas Collection. The calendar is being celebrated with a launch event tonight at The Future Gallery in London, with complimentary cocktails from Courvoisier. The launch features performances by Elizabeth Watts, Duncan Rock and Nicky Spence, and offers a chance to see an exhibition of artwork from the calendar.
