Anita, I seem to remember that Carlo was a friend of Charles.
A very amusing Desert Island Discs is available from the DID archive, with Roy Plomley.

I remember meeting him aged c.7 when he came to perform in Bedford and being somewhat inspired.
I saw Carlo about 30 years ago when he visited Nottingham Organ Society with a small Allen organ. He was practically unheard of at the time, but soon put the record straight by completely mesmerising the audience, including playing “Flight of the Bumblebee” ON THE PEDALS!! He will be sorely missed.
