The singer who will represent Britain at the next Eurovision contest is Arnold George Dorsey, who goes under the name of Engelbert Humperdinck, originally composer of the opera Hansel and Gretel.
Dorsey is 75. This was his greatest hit… 40 years ago.
But then the Eurovision Song Contest is beyond parody. They’re a perfect match and he might just win the thing, heaven forbid!
Perhaps he’ll launch a premiere of his new, age-appropriate song, “Revive Me.”
