NPR's Here & Now
True Love Ways (2/14/05) [RA]
2004 As Meathook (1/04/05) [RA]
Here and Now is NPR's mid-day news magazine. Produced every weekday at WBUR in Boston, it covers up-to-the-minute news alongside features on food and cooking, science and technology, personal finance, as well as cultural stories about film, theater, music and more.
WBUR also publishes a healthy dose of reviews on its arts pages, where you can enter "Tim Riley" or "Milo Miles" in the search box for incendiary music bytes.
My MONITOR RADIO stories are lost to cassettes way in the back room. But if you've made it this far, these are some briefs I wrote for the IPEA, the Information Please Entertainment Almanac. I also wrote some for Newsweek.com a while back, but I don't recall if those checks ever cleared. Those links now takes you to MSNBC, where all that content has aggregated until the next synergy-seeking consolidation initiative.
