    Well, I’m sure this performance won a lot of new fans for “jazz”. I didn’t see Ronald Reagan in the audience. Maybe he heard the sound-check earlier in the day.

    Man, the audience shots are hilarious. Not a huge comprehension level there. The expressions are mostly bovine. A couple of guys with mustaches are nodding their heads and leading the applause at appropriate places. Those are the hip ones. The ones with the mustaches.
