Thanks Paul, I'm happy that you found my correction useful. Not too many American jazz musicians of DBQ range have visited the Soviet Union before 1990, so we in Russia keep a pretty extensive log of their rare appearances on Soviet scene!

Thank you very much, Cyril, for the correction. I was confusing the DBQ's Russia tour with the groundbreaking tour of Poland, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. that took place twenty years earlier in 1958.

I made the change to the story's introduction.

Congratulations on your successful nominations of Andrey, Roman, and the two Pavel's. They are excellent musicians and terrific guys. I enjoyed meeting them.

Good story, except that Brubeck's first visit to Russia was in 1978, not 1958.
