The Denver Post's Kyle MacMillan says that Christoph Heinrich, the Denver Art Museum's new modern/contemporary curator has an idea for his first show: Find artists and let them figure out the museum's new building.
NY mag's Jerry Saltz says that Andreas Gursky has hit the Groundhog Day stage of his career.
In the Freep, Mark Stryker wonders if maybe the new Detroit Institute of Arts will dumb itself down too much. (I do too.)
The AP's Brett Zongker on how some clever Flickr-smart folk are freeing photographs from the Smithsonian.
